Jardin Del Puerta is a modern duplex apartment with 2 south facing terraces close to Javea Port. The location is fantastic with the port bars and restaurants only a 5 minute walk away and the Javea Arenal and Old Town a further 20 minute walk away. The apartment is on the first floor of a medium sized complex located just outside the port on the way up to the Old Town. Guests have easy access to Javea’s famous “Chiringuitos” (Beach bars) which are only 10 minutes stroll away. The apartment enjoys views of Javea and Portixol coastline in the far distance. From the 2 balcony terraces you can see the rooftops of Javea while sipping your favourite evening drink. The apartment is made up of 2 large bedrooms, both on the second floor and both with a private balcony.The master bedroom is a bright and comfortable king size double and the second is a twin bedroom. The apartment also benefits from a modern, well equipped kitchen ,open plan dining area and lounge, as well as a full bathroom with bath and shower and a further second shower room. The apartment entrance is protected with door intercom and the terrace enjoys al fresco dining with wonderful town views. The apartment has free Wi-Fi for guests use and also has UK satellite TV channels.

The apartment is a comfortable and relaxing space allowing a family of 4 to enjoy Javea without the need of a hire car. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining and lounge area with cosy furnishings and a flat screen TV with DVD and air-conditioning throughout. The open plan lounge has a high quality sofa bed for guests use and you can access the terrace through the glass doors. The bedrooms  all lead off the upper floor from the main living area; both bedrooms have air-conditioning and built in wardrobes.

The communal gardens are very well maintained and feature the large communal pool with jacuzzi, tennis/padel court, sauna and children’s play area.

Golf:Within 10 minutes drive of the apartment is Javea Golf Club situated between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant. The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is 15 minutes drive inland near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 18 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Both Javea and La Sella clubs have tennis and squash courts. Within a half hour drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.

Other areas to explore: Javea is made up of three areas, the Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The port area with its fish market and promenade and the old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Javea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafes, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 30 minutes drive away and close by is Terra Mitica, which is one of Europes largest theme parks. Visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square.

Javea Town: Javea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Javea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Javea town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants.

La Guardia/Cabo De La Nao areas: Be sure to stop at the ‘Miradors’ (viewing points), several of which are located within a few minutes drive of Casa Mallandos. Without exception, they offer stunning views from cliff top perches of rocky coves and crystal clear water. This is snorkelling territory at its best, reminiscent of Cornwall but with guaranteed good weather! From Cabo De La Nao, it is possible on a clear day to see all the way to Ibiza 100 kms away. Also close by is the idyllic bay of La Granadella, so picturesque that it is often featured on Javea’s postcards.
