La Grava is a beautifully appointed, very high standard 2 bedroom apartment with sea views. The location is the best in Javea with the fantastic beachside bars such as Mint, La Siesta, Veleta and Montgo Di Bongo. The apartment is on the first floor of a popular community; located only 5 minutes walk from Javea’s famous Arenal beach and the lively bars, restaurants, nightclubs and attractions, guests also have easy access to Javea’s famous “Chiringuitos” (Beach bars) which are only a minute away. The apartment enjoys views of the large pool and bay, from the balcony terrace you can see the pool and the sea beyond while sipping your favourite evening drink. The apartment is made up of 2 large bedrooms, first a double master with a private quiet balcony and a second double bedroom. The apartment also benefits from a modern, well equipped kitchen ,open plan dining area and lounge, as well as a full spa bathroom with bath and jet shower. The apartment entrance is protected with door intercom and the terrace enjoys al fresco dining with wonderful views. The apartment has free Wi-Fi for guests use and also has UK satellite TV channels.

The apartment is a comfortable and relaxing space allowing a family of 4 to enjoy Javea without the need of a hire car. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining and lounge area with cosy furnishings and a flat screen TV with DVD and air-conditioning. From the open plan lounge you can access the terrace through glass doors. The bedrooms and bathrooms all lead off the hallway from the main living area; both bedrooms have air-conditioning and built in wardrobes. The apartment has private parking in the garage below the apartment for guests to use.

Golf:Within 10 minutes drive of the apartment is Javea Golf Club situated between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant. The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is 15 minutes drive inland near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 18 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Both Javea and La Sella clubs have tennis and squash courts. Within a half hour drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.

Other areas to explore: Javea is made up of three areas, the Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The port area with its fish market and promenade and the old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Javea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafes, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 30 minutes drive away and close by is Terra Mitica, which is one of Europes largest theme parks. Visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square.

Javea Town: Javea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Javea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Javea town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants.

La Guardia/Cabo De La Nao areas: Be sure to stop at the ‘Miradors’ (viewing points), several of which are located within a few minutes drive of Casa Mallandos. Without exception, they offer stunning views from cliff top perches of rocky coves and crystal clear water. This is snorkelling territory at its best, reminiscent of Cornwall but with guaranteed good weather! From Cabo De La Nao, it is possible on a clear day to see all the way to Ibiza 100 kms away. Also close by is the idyllic bay of La Granadella, so picturesque that it is often featured on Javea’s postcards.
